Roofing, Siding, Windows and Doors
Protect the house from the outside in, with an exterior built for Ontario weather.
Roofing, Siding, Windows and Doors in Toronto and across Ontario
Your roof, walls, windows and doors keep Ontario's snow, ice, rain and wind out of your home. When they fail, the damage shows up inside: stained ceilings, drafts, mould and high heating bills.
We replace roofs, siding, soffits, fascia and eavestroughs, and install new windows and doors, with the underlayments, flashing and air sealing that make them perform. Like-for-like replacements usually need no permit. Enlarging openings or changing structure does, and we handle it.
Harborline Sterling Construction Inc. is principal-led. One of our co-founders, Mansoor Alam Khan or Maqsood Mohammed, oversees every project, so decisions get made quickly and you always know who is accountable.

Read articleFrequently asked questions
Do I need a permit to replace my roof?
In most cases, no, as long as no structural work is needed. Changing the roof structure or adding dormers does need one.
Do I need a permit to replace windows?
Replacing a window or door in the same opening of a house usually does not need one. Enlarging openings or adding new ones does, because the wall structure changes.
What causes ice dams?
Heat escaping into the attic melts snow on the roof, and the water refreezes at the colder eaves. Air sealing, insulation, ventilation and eave protection all help prevent them.
How long does a roof replacement take?
Many house roofs are replaced in one to a few days, depending on size, complexity and weather.
Do you repair as well as replace?
Yes. If a repair will solve the problem, we will tell you, rather than sell you a replacement you do not need.
