Kitchen Renovations
The room that runs your household, designed around how you cook, gather and live.
Kitchen Renovations in Toronto and across Ontario
A kitchen renovation touches nearly every trade in the house: walls and structure, plumbing, electrical circuits, ventilation, flooring, cabinets and counters. Getting the order right is what keeps it on schedule.
We handle everything from new cabinets and counters to full open-concept rebuilds that remove walls, add islands and move plumbing. Structural changes are designed by an engineer, electrical work is done by licensed electrical contractors, and permits are handled for you.
Harborline Sterling Construction Inc. is principal-led. One of our co-founders, Mansoor Alam Khan or Maqsood Mohammed, oversees every project, so decisions get made quickly and you always know who is accountable.

How long does a kitchen renovation take?
Most full kitchen renovations take several weeks of construction. Cabinet and counter lead times often set the schedule, so we order early.
Can I remove the wall between my kitchen and living room?
Usually, yes. If the wall is load-bearing, an engineer designs a beam and posts, and a building permit is required. We manage both.
Will I have a kitchen during the renovation?
Not for most of the work. We can help you set up a temporary kitchen with a fridge, microwave and sink elsewhere in the house.
Do I need a permit for a kitchen renovation?
Replacing cabinets and counters in the same layout usually does not need one. Removing walls, changing structure or adding plumbing usually does. We confirm the requirements for your home.
Can you work with my kitchen designer or cabinet supplier?
Yes. We coordinate with your designer and supplier, or bring our own, and take responsibility for the construction.
