Home and Room Renovations
From one room to the whole house, one team plans, manages and finishes the work.
Home and Room Renovations in Toronto and across Ontario
Not every project is a full gut. Some homeowners want one room done properly, others want to renovate floor by floor over a few years, and some are ready to transform the whole house at once.
We take on all of it: bedrooms, living rooms, home offices, stairs, flooring, drywall, trim, lighting and paint, through to whole-home renovations that change layouts and upgrade wiring, plumbing and insulation. Small jobs get the same written scope, protection of your home and clean finish as large ones.
Harborline Sterling Construction Inc. is principal-led. One of our co-founders, Mansoor Alam Khan or Maqsood Mohammed, oversees every project, so decisions get made quickly and you always know who is accountable.

Do you take on small jobs, like one room?
Yes. A single room gets the same written scope, care for your home and finish quality as a full renovation.
Can we stay in the house during a whole-home renovation?
Often, by phasing the work and keeping a kitchen and bathroom usable. For the heaviest phases, such as major structural or system work, some families stay elsewhere for a while. We plan it with you.
Will an older home have surprises?
Sometimes. Older homes can hide outdated wiring, old plumbing, settled framing, or asbestos in materials such as vermiculite insulation and old floor tiles. We investigate before pricing and raise anything unexpected right away, with options and costs.
Do I need a permit?
Cosmetic work such as flooring, painting and cabinetry usually does not need one. Removing or adding walls, moving doors and windows, or changing plumbing, heating or structure usually does.
Can you help with design?
Yes. We can plan layouts and finishes with you, and bring in an architect, designer or engineer where the project calls for one.
